First World War One Soldier Character Jug.

A First World War One Soldier Character Jug. Called “Lest We Forget”. Produced to commemorate the ending of the First World War in November 1918.

Modelled by Ray Noble. One of the most gifted ceramic modellers. Currently working in the UK pottery industry.

Then made in Stoke on Trent. By Bairstow Pottery Collectables. In their factory which is based in Stoke on Trent.

Where they use traditional production methods to make their Character Jugs. First of all they are hand cast. Then hand painted. Altogether the whole production process takes five to six working days.

Established in 1936. Well known for their Character and Toby Jugs. In particular their British Prime Minister range of small Toby Jugs.

Another key point is that this Character Jug. Is produced in a world-wide Limited Edition of only 350. Each Character Jug is numbered on the base.

The height of this Character Jug is 18cm.
