William Morris.

William Morris is recognised as one of the most significant cultural figures of Victorian Britain. A prominent figure of the British Arts and Craft Movement of the Nineteenth century.

Best known during his life time as poet. However he his probably better known now for his designs. Such as the Strawberry Thief design. Which are still being produced on textiles and ceramics.

Walter Crane. (1845 – 1915).

Walter Crane was a British artist and book illustrator. He was part of the Arts and Crafts Movement. Producing an array of paintings and illustrations. As well as children’s books, ceramic tiles, wallpapers and other decorative art.
