Emma Bailey is a unique Ceramic Artist, born and bred in Staffordshire, the UK’s home of pottery. Undoubtedly produces designs. Influenced in the heritage of ceramic talent. That comes from her hometown. Already deemed to be the next Clarice Cliff. As her liking and an instinct for striking colour and design are imminent.

Designs created spontaneously by hand from a feeling rather than a plan. She does not work with drawings or prints but hand paints freely on fine bone china, a range of original pieces that shift elegantly from traditional to contemporary, touching everything from classical to fun and funky in-between.

The nature of the work means that no two pieces are the same.  All individually hand painted so that each item is one-of-a-kind.

With more than 30 years working in the ceramic industry. Including sixteen years. Working as an Artisan of Pottery for the famous Wedgwood factory. Her experiences are rich in a wealth of influences inspired by the culture of her life and The Potteries.
